Have you ever placed bees in a jar to observe them, to see how they fly, interact with one another and explore their surroundings, adapting to their new environment? And then one day you removed the lid? The bees were now free to go, but they had become so accustomed to their tiny, confined space that they stayed right where they were. Buzzing around in a tiny orbit, comfortable now with this space, never even checking to see if the top was off and they were free. Life had become predictable for them; the possibilities limited and new opportunities were closed off.

Life for us can be pretty much like those bees in a jar. We think because life has always been a certain way that it must always remain that way, there is a glass ceiling above us and so what is true now must always be the truth for us. But guess what? There is no glass ceiling.   The resurrected Christ has broken the stalemate on the limited possibilities of life and created something new, something exciting and something worth checking out. Christ has removed the lid; we are free to move about now. So, what are we doing about it?

What is next for you? If the lid is really off and all things are possible, what wonderful dreams and adventures might you persue?

Now is the time to turn to God and see what is next. Now is the time to examine your heart and find your true passion. Now is the time to look to the stars and see unlimited possibility. Now is the time to tap into that transformative power that is the Christ within you and move forward in ways that you never before thought available to you. You know something? They are available to you because Jesus is available to you. They are available to you because with God all things are indeed possible.   You can because God can.

Let the resurrected Christ speak to you and show you what is next. You may be surprised, or you may just have confirmed for you those things you always dreamed about and are awaiting you staking your claim.

The Apostle Paul wrote: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Let this be our mantra and our daily affirmation.

“Jesus said to them, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you’ll know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.’”  (John 14: 6-7)

Affirmation: “The stalemate is broken. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
