“God loves you just the way you are, but too much to let you stay that way.” I love this saying and find much reassurance in it for how much we are loved by God. Even with all of our flaws and shortcomings God is steadfast in devotion to us. God has unconditional acceptance, abundant grace and an unlimited flow of blessing for each of us. And through all of that God sees still more possibility for us. The good news here is that we are forever changing and evolving. As we evolve we can decide the direction of that change. Thoughts of peace, joy, health, abundance and love will change us ever for the better, whereas thoughts of darkness, defeat, sadness and limitation will move us in a different direction. God will still love us, for nothing we do will keep God from loving us, but God will also desire for us to experience more in life. When Paul wrote his letter to the church in Rome he was in prison, and yet he was telling the church how to be free. He reminds us to look beyond our current possibilities, to those possibilities created for us by God.  God is a God of possibility, but we have to experience that newness of life to see its miracles.  Change is always going to occur, but without a willingness to let God move through you and create new possibilities in your life the change for you may be just to more of the same. Same limited thinking; same results.  Thinking and praying on the possibilities of God; newness of life and joy of discovery.

Imagine that your every thought creates before you a giant ice sculpture. It is sculpted to reflect what you are thinking and believing.  Is your ice sculpture a thing a beauty, or is it ugly and uninviting? If you don’t like it we have the assurance that through our belief in Spirit God, always right where we are, that it can be melted down and remolded into something new, something beautiful.

So, what are you thinking, believing and creating today?

“Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold, but let God remold your minds from within.”    (Romans 12: 1-2, J.B. Phillips)

Affirmation: “Recognizing God as my source in all things, my life is molded into a beautiful statue of perfection.”
