God does not recognize us by age, race, country of origin, sexuality, or by any other of the labels that we might place upon people. God sees each of us as precious beings of Spirit, created and ordained by him with unconditional love and grace. It is in this perfect vision that we too are called to see ourselves. We can define ourselves as God’s children and as we let loose of the limiting labels of our physicality we can open ourselves to receive more of God’s presence. We should begin each day, and move throughout that day, reminding ourselves to see our lives as God sees us and to celebrate and recognize how beautifully we have been created. Even though we may ere in our humanness, God sees us as that which was created out of pure love and grace and continues to shower us with Perfect Spirits divine presence and forgiveness. For us to see ourselves in this way is to agree with God that what God has made is indeed wonderful and blessed.
What are you celebrating in your life today? What are you celebrating New Year’s Eve? As we near New Year’s Eve, and the beginning of a new year, let us decide to see our life and our mission to God’s creation in a new and powerful way. Let us declare to see ourselves empowered by God to move forward to co-create with God a world that is no longer fragmented by thoughts of lack, limitation and negativity but surrounded by the Light of Perfect Spirit sending peace, joy, fulfillment and possibility of all things good.
So, what about it? How do you see yourself today? How does God see you today? Do the pictures match?
“God saw everything that he had made, and indeed it was very good.” (Genesis 1:31)
Affirmation: “I walk with Spirit God. In this divine presence I find my peace.”
