For it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well.”    (Psalm 139: 13-14)

This Psalm begins, “O Lord, you have searched me and known me…you discern my thoughts from far away.” What I love about this Psalm is the intimacy to which God knows us, fully, completely and lovingly. But it also speaks to the intimacy to which we are to know ourselves. We are to know ourselves as God knows us. We are to love ourselves as God loves us. We are to trust in the glory of our lives as God trusts us to rely on Divine Spirit in all aspects of our being.

Often I am drawn to the saying “Let Go, and Let God.” This is not a call for us to do nothing and trust that God will do everything for us, without any effort from ourselves. It is a clarion call that we should move forward in life knowing that we can release those things that bring us fear and doubt and move instead in a new direction filled with the assurance that the Divine Presence leads us in ways we had never before thought possible.

God knows our every thought, our every desire, our every need. God is there to provide for us abundantly with the magnificent things of God’s Kingdom, but we must proceed with a trust and belief in this beautiful Presence that allows our lives to joyfully move forward in ways that forever embrace the new, the change, the even greater fulfillment of God working in our lives.

Today is a glorious day that God has made for each and every one of us to embrace, grow and ultimately thrive. We are wonderfully made and wonderfully blessed. Believe it, embrace it, affirm it, proclaim it and live it fully. God will help you.

Affirmation: “I embrace this glorious day that God has made and live it fully as an ambassador of all things possible with God.”
