Stop for a moment and do something for me. Think about, what you think about, all day long.

Is the dominant focus of your mind defeatist thinking, feeling separate from the truth of God’s presence, seeing others as “less-than,” gossiping, dishing others behind their back, any of those things that fail to acknowledge the spiritual presence and being of others?

Think about what you think about all day and stop at the end of the day and look around at what has been created in your life. Is it more stress, thoughts spinning around inside of you of distrust, fear and maybe even physical discomfort? Or do you get to the end of your day and find that you are surrounded by the presence of God and that your life is unfolding beautifully – toward a greater expression of Spirit’s presence and goodness, filling you with renewed hope and possibility?

We have each been given everything we need for life by a God who loves us unconditionally, but we must be mindful of that, affirm that, and live from that place of truth. When we live from that place we are living in a very affirmative atmosphere, one that will draw to us still more of the same. Nothing in our humanness becomes a limitation because we live and breathe in the midst of God/Spirit. In that atmosphere and presence we always will get through whatever life may throw our way. Think about what you think about all day long.

Too often we make it way too difficult. We fall into default mode of old thinking that is stale and produces those things we don’t wish to experience.  We can spin in this negative place, or we can recognize our error and begin again.  This is our cue to stop, take a breath, several breaths, mindfully and with intention. Now we are able to change the direction of our thoughts, our experience and our focus.  Affirming we are surrounded by God’s beautiful presence our trust and faith then becomes a powerful inner knowing that allows us to relax and melt into the Holy presence.

What you think about all day long is what you will experience. So, what are you thinking about? It might be time to make some changes.
