Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.” (Proverb 30:5)
I heard about an interesting way to journal and it was actually part of a PBS Masterpiece Theatre presentation, so I guess you never know where you might get inspiration. The journal is written daily in two parallel columns. On the left column one writes in the morning about the events one desires for the day. Hopes, prayers, expectations perhaps, an intention for the day ahead. On the right, what actually happened. How interesting to look back on these journal entries and see not only how our days may have progressed, but to also look and see how our prayers have been answered. Setting forth our intentions before God and later reflecting on God’s blessings is a powerful way to practice the presence of God.
Affirmation: “Stopping to recognize all the blessings of God around me there is nothing left to do, but say thank you.”
